WELCOME TO ANNA HEIGHTS

We are a Baptist church located in the rolling hills of Southern Illinois.  We have morning services in person at 8 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. on Sundays. We are also streaming live at 10:30 a.m. on Facebook and YouTube or you can watch it in the Media page. If you are desiring a small group Bible study we have Sunday School classes (more info) for all ages at 9:15 a.m. We invite you to come study God’s word and worship with us.
 
You can also connect with us by filling out the form under Contact Us or leave a prayer request on our Prayer Wall. Check out one of our social media platforms for more info or to leave comments. You can always call or text the church at 618-833-5916 with any requests. We hope you join us soon.

LUKE: BRINGING CERTAINTY TO AN UNCERTAIN WORLD Luke is writing this gospel account to a man named Theophilus. Luke had carefully researched and recorded the story of Jesus from his birth to his resurrection from the dead. His desire was that Theophilus have “certainty concerning the things you have been taught.” As believers, knowing and understanding the Bible gives us certainty and confidence concerning our faith. The life and the work of Jesus that is recorded in Scripture is the centerpiece of our faith and discipleship.

Purpose Statement

  • It is our desire to provide a nurturing, developmentally appropriate environment that encourages each child to develop mentally, physically, spiritually, socially and emotionally.
  • Provide individualized educational experiences to meet unique and developmental needs of all children.
  • Provide ministry to families.
  • Provide a witness of Christ and His church to the children’s families.
 

Hours of Operation

The center opens at 6:30 am and closes at 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

Your child may attend the center any time during the hours of operation.
 

Child Care Rates: (Effective Jan 1, 2023)

Full Day

  • Infants:   $42.00/daily   $210/weekly
  • Toddlers:   $39.00/daily   $195/weekly
  • Twos:   $36.00/daily   $180/weekly
  • Preschool 3-5 yrs:  $33.00/daily   $165/weekly
  • School age Summer:  $33.00/daily   $165/weekly
  • School age Afterschool:   $12.00/daily   $60/weekly
  • Partial Afterschool:     $21.00/day

Drop In Rate: $2.00 additional charge per day (all age groups)

UPWARD REGISTRATION WILL OPEN NOVEMBER 3

Basketball $60.00

(Optional shorts/turtlenecks available during online registration)
Important Dates
First Practice: Week of 01/05/26
First Game: 01/17/26
Evaluation and Orientation
Everyone must attend one basketball evaluation or cheerleading orientation. They will take place at the Anna Heights Gym as follows:
 
Basketball – Boys/Girls K5 – 2nd Grade Monday, November 24, 6:00 – 7:00 p.m.
Basketball – Boys/Girls 3rd – 4th Grade Monday, November 24, 7:00 – 8:00 p.m.
Basketball – Boys/Girls 5th – 6th Grade Monday, November 24, 8:00 – 9:00 p.m.
 
Make-up Evaluations for All Grades Tuesday, November 25, 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
 
Cheer In-person Payment – Girls K5 – 6th Grade November 24 or 25
There will be a Cheer clinic around the end of December.
Our normal Upward Season is Jan – Mar packed full with practices and ongoing league games for Basketball and Cheerleading. Weekly practices are held Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings.

Now is your opportunity to impact the lives of players and their families. The great evangelist Billy Graham once said: “A coach will impact more people in one year than the average person will in an entire lifetime.” 
 
Join us this year as we shape the children with the gospel through basketball. Pray about being a volunteer.
